The C12d Protocol provides a Brazilian standard for projects to remove GHG emissions in native vegetation, where geotechnology makes the entire credit generation process very fast, requiring precision in parameterization and certification of results. C12d was developed on the basis of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, ISO 14064-2:2006,  ISO 14064-3:2006 and and NBRISO14064-1 OF 10/2022 - Greenhouse gases - Part 1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals, as well as in the Program - Verified Carbon Standard - VCS VCS from VERRA (https://verra.org/), maintaining most of the principles and adapting the applicability in the C12d System.
